1.Ask and answer	Students are divided into pairs according to the color. They ask a very simple question Do you….? , and tick on the right question.	Warming up activity. Develop interaction, collaboration and communication.	7 min	5th  form
2.Guess the word.	Teacher cuts the cards  with food items out and put them face down on the table. The students take turns picking a card and the rest of the group put questions, to find out what is in the card. The one to guess the word gets the card. Who gets more cards ?	It is a kind of warming up activity. Revise the vocabulary for further activities.	8 min	5th form

4.Quizzing teams	Students are divided into two groups . They choose one representative from each group, the representative pick up cards with food items and give a short definition of it. The other students guess the items .The group which guess more words will be the winner.		To develop communication, collaboration and cooperation .To memorize new information in real life situation.	10 min	5th form
5.Story telling.	Students speak about their favourite dish ,they are divided into two groups. When one group is presenting ,the other one depict it on a poster.		Develop critical thinking and higher order thinking skills, develop cooperation and communication skills. Use the information in a context.	15 min	5th form
6.Dialogs	Situation in a restaurant. They make up dialogues using new vocabulary and grammar.		Develop spoken interaction. Waitperson: Hi. How are you doing this afternoon? Customer: Fine, thank you. Can I see a menu, please? Waitperson:: Certainly, here you are. Customer: Thank you. What's today's special? Waitperson:: Grilled tuna and cheese on rye. Customer: That sounds good. I'll have that. Waitperson:: Would you like something to drink? Customer: Yes, I'd like a coke. Waitperson:: Thank you. (returning with the food) Here you are. Enjoy your meal! Customer: Thank you. Waitperson:: Can I get you anything else? Customer: No thanks. I'd like the check, please. Waitperson:: That'll be $14.95. Customer: Here you are. Keep the change! Waitperson: Thank you! Have a good day! Customer: Goodbye.
