To expand students’ knowledge on the topic travelling

Students will be able to:

Speak about their preferences in travelling using new vocabulary inventory
Find specific information in the text 
To cooperate and collaborate with their classmates
To write about pros and cons in travelling

( Scanning)

Teacher divides students into 3 groups. 

Teacher gives them handouts with text about London transport museum. Pupils concentrate on key points and words in order to find the specific information in the text. They do it with the help of True/False and questions. 

They do this activity through Socrative

Students compare their answers.

Listening 

Teacher turns the audio on about “Trains and travel”. Students listen to the audio and do matching task. They match the speaker with the place they are going to.

Teacher divides pupils into pairs and they speak about their last journey. Teacher monitors the process and writes good examples of language and mistakes on the board.

Debates /Pros and Cons 

Teacher writes on the board the question for debates “For and against of travelling with family VS travelling with friends”  Studentswork in two groups .
